Im going to use the stock case fans, since I know are cases came with decent ones.

lol, He has a 30" Dell LCD at a super crazy high res, a G15 keyboard, and a G5 mouse.

Everything looks good, but man I am sure thats a good case but for 150 bucks its kinda (plain) I am sure for that much you could get just as good a case thats cool!

no idea, but he was about to buy a $5,500 Dell computer until I convinced him to buy one from Newegg.

It was only 2GB DDR2-667, QX6700, nForce 590, 2x 8800GTX's, etc.

The only problem is that Folding@Home doesn't support DX 10 cards, hopefully soon enough. I guess he can use the CPU. That would get a Hefty amount of PPD.

Yeah I know, plus Nvidia doesn't have any cards that supports F@H. But like you said the CPU will pump out a lot of PPD.
