well.. 8% is still quite a lot imo.. anyhow,.. is that the only RAM in your pc? or do you have some other sticks in it? ( if those others have CL3,.. i dont know if you can put it to CL2,.. but if not,.. just put it on CL2, and you'll be fine )
Well I set the timmings as per instructed and it was fine for a while then it locked up, so I rebooted and it was telling me memory test fail. So I had to reset the bios and I just left it on auto. Im not gonna mess with it aslong as it works its good.
Yah, that wasn't very clear..sorry I've been awake a long time...like a really long time. What I mean is you can put RAM in with whatever timings you want, some CL2 some CL3 whatever. It should run at CL3 (slowest) if not set it there, you might be able to get away with 2.5 but the performance boost is even less. Since you can't set individual timings for each stick it all runs at the same setting.
