Yeah, you should have everything imaginable on this system to do almost anything you probably will do for a while.

May I make a small suggestion though, a good rule of thumb is to have some type of backup for protection of data or future problems. Many customers buy a new computer, and when they start installing device drivers for printers, etc. and especially with VISTA - I came to a situation last month with a customer who bought a system from Best Buys, bought a scanner from them too... after he installed the drivers on the CD - he lost his DVD drive. So, my advice... to buy an external hard drive, save any data or files you downloaded unto it, this way it protects you from any lost. And install all and any new drivers from the manufacturer's web site, like HP for printers & scanners, digital cameras... etc.

This way, you can have all the drivers needed. Plus, the backup (External HDD) will be great for storage of those pictures, videos, etc. So, you wouldn't lose them on your desktop of My Computer files.

two favorites. asus laptops and acer screens... you have an asus laptop and that makes me envy you lol
 
that is acutally a really nice laptop, i would have been cool if it had a 17" screen (though you may not like that). but i wish i had that one :D
 
17" is a bit big for me .. of course mine is a 13" so I'm just biased. An Asus will last you a long time ... you mad a good choice.
 
Brilliant my brother. I dont have anything else to say. But I think the price is a bit high. I dont 100% agree with the price
