Just did a cool case mod

I got the idea to put a toggle switch on it to turn off one exhaust fan and one intake fan. The sound has decreased quite a bit, too, so I'll just switch it on during gaming or something intensive. Toggle switch was $3, connectors may differ, I grabbed my drill, threw in a 1/2" bit and drilled a hole in a spare drive plate. What do you think? You guys should try it.

Thanks

You can get fan controllers with toggle switches but your way is probably a lot cheaper.

Personally I prefer to have my 9 (!) fans running all the time.

Yeah pictures would be a help on the visual aspect. However is what you did like one of those window fans that are comprised of two fans, one blowing air out..and the other sucking it in? Good Idea if thats what your talking about :)

Those fans that are close like that are rendered useless if you have one on intake and one on exhaust. The air just comes in and then leaves quickly, not very good for cooling. Maybe if they were place directly over the CPU HS they would be good.

Sorry guys, my other camera got ran over when I was off-roading and my other one is for work purpose, I am gonna buy another, eventually.

My phone is Verizon and it uploads pics from the phone to the computer fine, I just pix message them to my email address and then save them.
