jnc sst-tf22g27 is the model... it was on special for $200, normally $700 because the company [JNC] went poof... and they [harvey normans] just wanted them gone.
anyway, the max resolution i can select is 1280x1024 and 1440x900 i think is native, which im lead to belive the problem is.
i dont have any fancy video card or computer but how can i get it to run clear? how can i get my comp to select 1440x900 [or what ever i need]?

thanks for any help guys

A video card.

how old is the computer??? / motherboard???

how was it on your old screen????

The native resolution should be 1680x1050. Thats whats causing it to be "blurry". What video card do you have, latest drivers, does it support a resolution that big? Also, some LCD monitors need a driver for it to detect the right resolution for it, but not always.

the comp is old... like a hp pavilion 8903 [i read that from the sticker on the front]. the last 2 CRT screens are perfect... intel(R) 82810 graphics controller is what i think the cad is... i go to the card properties and the list of graphic modes has 1600x1200 but cant select it. any good ?

hhmmm.....:confused::confused: update the card drivers.....

how and where?
im not a nasa tech but i do hav some basic know how... the last driver update was dated in 2004... yep... i reguarly maintain my comp... well, virus = reboot...

How are you connected to the monitor? Do you have a choice of DVI and VGA? If I'm not mistaking, you can't go into widescreen formats using VGA. Or I know my LCD TV won't... 1280x1024 is the max res using VGA. You must use HDMI/DVI to get the full native res on my TV.

You probably need a new GPU. You may be able to find some older/cheaper PCI card that'd work, if new drivers don't resolve your problem. Well, I'm assuming your machine doesn't have an AGP port in it.

wel my acu isnt compatable with the new mode of crd-a's so im thinkin of doing a whole conversion to tpi400...

or from the information i understood, im running it on VGA. and cant run the DVI i think
i dont know what a GPU is or PCI or a AGP

If you update the video drivers, reboot and you still don't have 1680x1050, you're out of luck unless you buy a new video card I'm afraid.
