I had enough of Vista and installed a copy of XP Pro with SP2 on my custom built computer. I now do not know what drivers I need to install to get my comp back to running right...

Computer:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU
6400 @ 2.13GHz
2.13GHz, 3.25GB of RAM

Please let me know of any other information needed to help me get the right drivers installed on this machine.

Whats not "running right"? You may need the disc that came with the motherboard and any other software that goes to other things like a video card if you are running one...

have you tried going to the device manager and seeing what still needs drivers? what kind of video card does it have?

if you don't know how to get to the device manager: right click my computer, then manage, and then device manager.

listed with a yellow ? Other Devices:

canon mp210
ethernet controller
ethernet controller
mp210 series
multimedia controller
multimedia controller
multimedia video controller
multimedia video controller
PCI device
PCI simple communications controller
SM bus controller
video controller (VGA compatible)

That is in my device manager. I just don't know what the hell manufacturer did all these different parts because I bought the computer from a friend who had it assembled.

By not "running right" I mean that the resolution for my screen is no working - only option is 800 x 600 and I have no option for a wireless connection. The computer is choppy at scrolling... etc... just not running right... haha

right, this is because the video card drivers as well as the wireless card drivers are not installed. you can start by right clicking the items in the device manager that have the yellow ? and then selecting "update driver"

also, what kind of video card and what kind of wireless card do you have?

I cannot update drivers because I cannot get on the internet. I do not know what kind of video card or wireless card I have.

I did not buy this version of XP.

well if u cant get to internet.... then its very less chance you will have the drivers for your stated hardware, and the only way out is to get hold of the respective driver cd's ......
and stop using illegal copies of windows.

If anything, open up the case and check the cards. And the motherboard usually have it's name and model # stamped on it. And see if you can go over to a friend's place and download the required drivers from the website's after you check the name and model #'s of the cards. (video and others). And then burn them to a cd/dvd disk.

Please don't help the pirate.
