just ordered a 670 from circutcity.com and i found out the item was not infact instock like they said but it is on backorder!!! wow!!!

How long do yall think this will take typically? Should I cancel the order and pounce on one from newegg soon as it becomes availible or not?

never bought from circut city, but after that quick one they pulled on me, i dont think i will again.

Nobody seems to have any 670s left in stock. My guess is it may very well take a week or two, maybe even up to a month.

Wait for newegg. I go there about once a day to drool over the same EVGA card and every few days, its back in stock.

Newegg has 3 GTX670s in stock right now. I saw an ASUS, PNY, and Im not sure what the other one is.

But still no sign of the 680s being in stock, Im still waiting but now wondering if the 680 is significantly faster than the 670? I mean, as far as I can see the only difference is slower clocks and about 150 or so less SPUs. Which can only cost like a few frames right?

Circutcity.com is not circutcity anymore, and why would you go there of all places? But, just cancel the order and signup for newegg.com auto notify on the 670, and than if you have a phone and can keep track of your emails as soon as you get them, some 670s will come in stock for a few hours after a day or two, buy one as soon as you get the email.

CircutCity.com is the same as TigerDirect and CompUSA, everything comes from the same place. All three are owned by Systemax.

Some even report it being better than a 680, which seems very odd.

But it certainly is not worth $100, at least to me.

Well, I wouldnt take too many benchmarks to heart on these cards yet. While they are still performing very well right now, they are still on new drivers as far as I am aware. And as history has shown us, in time nvidia can do wonders with their drivers. So Id expect by the end of the year to see them perform even better.
