Yep.According to PC World they estimate it should be realised around Decemember 10th It's mad! I'll be giving my ultras it back to XFX and dig a hole in them and say their broke and get a refund lol
 
I hope you're joking. Why would you spend that much money on a pre-order when they dont come out until ~December? For all you know they jacked up the pre-order price, and they will be $100+ cheaper when they are actually available...
 
Everytime I used radeon, I ended up with alot of headaches and not the performance I was hoping for.

I was just unlucky I guess you could say but from now on I will stick with NVidia.

Nvidia beats the crap outta ATI....

I am gonna stick with my GTX, I might just pay out $100 and upgrade to an Ultra soon....

So the 6600GT is better then the 2900XT? lol

They both have had their high performing cards at one time or another, but nVidia is currently on top.

I don't like ATI, b/c of their driver troubles... It was constant Hell on XP!! On XP!!

No the 6600GT isn't better than 2900XT... You knew what I meant by that...
 
put my x800 up next to a 6800 any day see what happens. ati has good driver software teams, it has just been on this latest line that they messed up and did not test thoroughly enough before putting it on the market
 
Yeh i think ATI drivers for their DX 9 range of cards are soooo good compared to the issues i had with Nvidia - ATI for dx 9 Nvidia for dx 10 IMO
 
I still dont see the point of pre-ordering a video card. It's not like they are going to be sold out within the first hour. Besides, who knows if the price will change by then.
 
where the hell is the site that sells them or how did u pre order them , are they on the market yet !?!?!!!?!?!?!?!?
 
I've only had two graphics cards. a ATI Radeon 9200SE on my old rig and my nVidia 8800GTS on my new rig. Never had problems with my old ATI card and haven't had any with my GTS.
