Just thought I would share something I found out

Just thought I would share with everybody what i stumbled across tonight.

I wanted to pull all my movies from one drive to my main machine in my sig, so I plugged in a WD 300 gig and upon windows booting it said the Video Card didn't have enough power.

I was shocked with the Power Supply I had that adding one more HDD would cause that.

For everybody wondering what size power supply to go with, go big and leave yourself some headroom. I thought I would have headroom but, WRONG. These modern machines suck the juice. And I would never buy any generic PS.

Hah, that's kinda funny, 'cause I have a 250W supply powering 2 optical drives, 2 hard drives a zip drive, floppy drive, and the other usual components of a computer. The graphics card is supposed to be connected as well, but I thought that might be the straw that breaks the camel's back :).
