hi guys, im jus wondering if theres a program that locks your computer, for examples, after certain idle times the computer locks itself and you need a password to get back to desktop and how to secure your folders?

that would be the same as putting a password on your screensaver.

Yeah, you can do that, and most BIOS will allow you to lock the computer there as well. But, if you put a password on your account name on the computer, then it will protect the computer both on coming back from a screensaver, and when booting up. (only on XP as far as I know, though)

right click on desktop, click properties, click screensaver tab, then click the box where it says "On resume, password protect"

Zonealarm has a built in function that locks all internet activity after a specified time?? Dont no if thats close enough for wut ur looking for
