Specs are in my sig. Now What should I do next? I'm already buying the zalman fatality to cool my whole system.

Now, my limit is $150. Should I buy another 7600GT and run both of them? Or should I buy another 1G of RAM?

What should i dooooo....

What should you do for what? Upgrades? Depends...what do you use this system for?

You know, just because you have money to spend doesn't mean you have to pour it into your computer...

With a system like that, you have to consider whether you really need to invest more than you have already, or whether you're just after having the best machine you can afford.

As a Buddhist you'll know the cause of suffering is desire, so focusing too much on upgrading for the sake of it may not be considered healthy.

But who am I to judge? Personally I'd go for the extra gig of RAM, so it's Vista ready. :)

Ram

I'm going to have to agree with Magicman on the additional 1GB of ram. My roommate has a 7600GT with an Opty 165 and he added 1GB of ram for a total of 2GB. While with another friend who has a 6800 Ultra and AMD 64 3500 went from 1GB to 2GB (both of them did this the same day at a LAN Party) and they both noticed very big performance increases in games. Load times were shorter and both were able to turn on higher visual settings. Both also noticed some games lagging much less with higher visual settings. I was present and noticed the boost myself as I had to wait on them less in loading games :P . 1GB more ram FTW!!!

Great reply. Very informative! I think you're right. After getting one more Gig of ram, I think I'll call it quits on this computer. And even then, I'll wait to do so. I know thats not what you intended to mean, but it made me think. For what I do with it, it's more than enough the way it is. Let us not become greedy!
