I'm not 100% sure what your asking, but servers use operating systems.

Servers usually use a Linux or Windows server OS. And there is no Windows K2, i think you have that confused with shorthand for Windows 2000 (2K).

well, yes servers do use Os's, or else they wouldnt be able to run very much.... there is a server side component called the K2 Component Server. This may be what your thinking of. Basically K2 compnonent server is a kind of management system to deal with COBRA and other such things, highly advnaced and not common by any means... this probably isnt what your talking about...

Failing that all i have to offer is what other people are saying and that you got confused with 2K... but i doubt that... there are an old line of AMD processors that where called the AMD K6-2's, maybe you heard that and only picked up the K2 bit.....maybe
