k8ns ultra 939 NO POST

I've got a gigabyte k8ns ultra 939 and i use a athlon 64 3000+ (which i've tested), an ati radeon 9800pro (tested) and 2 sticks of dual channel corsair RAM (tested) and I get no post at all from my board with just the video and cpu in the board. I was wondering if it is at all possible that this is a psu problem. The cpu fan spins but i get no beeps to tell me that the ram is out.

otherwise i will have to go buy a new mobo. I was thinking of the asus a8v deluxe but i heard that it has issues with ati video cards. Does anyone know if this issue has been fixed or updated in bios or anything?
 
I've used a couple boards that for some odd reason didn't beep when there was no RAM. My current board doesn't do it either. I'm using MSI K7N2 Delta 2 Plat.
It won't POST with just video and CPU. Put the RAM in there and tell us what happens.

still nothing. cpu fan spins. nothing displays on monitor. i think i'll buy a new psu and see what happens. what do you guys think?
