Kaspersky Anti-Virus

Got a 6 month free trial of this with my new computer.
How good is it?
Should I skip it and download the free stuff?
Been useing AVG Free but I don't think it works on W7,atleast it doesn't on my laptop,so I got Avira on it.

Also,On the Norton Tool Remover,after I run it,do I uninstall it or keep it on?
Even after I went to control panel and uninstalled it I got some pops for it.

Kaspersky is fine. You can keep your security the way it is for now and then after it expires either renew (if you're will to pay) or download and install

microsoft security essentials
avg
avast
antivir

they should all work with windows 7

I'm not sure what you're referring to with the norton tool, however, it sounds unnecessary because you have either kaspersky or antivir
 
Kaspersky Anti-virus is an excellent anti-virus program that protects users from malware. It can do a scan on virus and worms embedded in the computer, apart from catching unknown malicious programs.

I would suggest you not to use more than 1 antivirus in your computer because it will slow down your computer speed...

i have and tried them all in the past. At least for right now im using Kaspersky internet security 2010 for 5 computers. works fine. using on windows 7 pro, xp pro.
 
kaspersky is excellent in detecting viruses, last year when I was reviewing anti viruses for my company, I noticed kaspersky is a hog of resources, so if you dont have a couple gigs of ram , get rid of it

were using trend micro, its okay... its intrusive though... I am using avast at home and I love it
