Kazaa isn't working

When i open Kazaa it does not connect. i just got norton virus 2006 and a upgrade to spysweeper. can someone help me out with this. or suggest a nother good P2P sharer that is not full of spyware or virus. thanks

#1)Kazaa is dead they are in court right now being sued.

#2)Kazaa is illegal and therefore banned by moderators to help you with any program problems in the forum

#3)Is it really that expensive to buy a 15dollar cd man?

My answer to question 3 is that yes, for a dollar a song, that is too exensive for me. I dont have any money. Otherwise, i dont like to use illegal stuff and whatnot. So im screwed.
 
nope i dont think it is hard to go buy a 15 dollar CD but i think it is hard to buy a 15 dollar CD when there is only one good song, i have used Kazaa to test music, like when a New CD comes out i might download the album and if i actually like it i have gone out and bought the album even after downloading all the songs, i might be the only one who does that.

Eventually these sites will get shutdown in time. I certainly have no problem paying $15 for a cd when stores where I live usually see $18-20! Gosh that would be a bargain here! :P Unfortunately I'm going to have to go to Amazon.com or some other place to order cds since the music stores around here don't even carry the type of music I listen to.

I've done that.

You could also do what I do: Wal-Mart downloads. http://musicdownloads.walmart.com/catalog/servlet/MainServlet
$0.88 each, and you can sample each song. I've found some stuff there that I wasn't able to find anywhere else. You don't even need a credit card; one of their Gift Cards available at any register will do just fine. :) You "fill" the Gift Card at the register and then use it online just like a credit card. The only "problem" is that Internet Exploder is mandatory. FF/Mozilla/Netscape won't work.

Want to save it to a CD? Printed in PC World were instructions on how to use WMP to rip the .wma to a .wav so that you can save it without DRM.

This is what I do when I can't find what I want on P2P... which is sadly becoming more often.

WMP 10 now is able to convert wma and wav files into mp3s right off of a cd when you choose the "rip cd" option. When I add to the WMP library the mp3 choice is made there. If you buy downloads and write to cd-rws you then can convert them to mp3s through WMP 10.
