So I couldn't get my linux to boot up, I tried it on UNetbootin instead...now I get to the blue box but when I click on linux I get 'invalid or corrupt kernel image'...I thought this linux thing was supposed to be so easy ! Do I need to re-format the flash drive? I tried setting it at FAT but didn't do anything.
 
Did you format (erase) the drive with Yumi?

You can also try re-downloading the ISO. The one you downloaded may be corrupt.

I've tried it all.....I think I'll just buy a Windows Xp disk that has a valid product key on ebay and leave it at that.

Who is Kernal Sanders? Does he mean the KFC guy?


I always just use Pendrive Linux, never have any problems. Even use it to flash Windows ISOs.

because one of the members advised me to download for free the cinnamon version to flash just to see if I could get my wifi on with it...
