key board not working

well im trying to get to my system settings at the beginning of the boot process, but im unable to do it because my keyboard does not work at the beginning. it wont start workin until i login. my question is why is it doing this and how can i fix it.
 
Er.... guess you got bad luck, did you try and see if your keyboard is hooked up correctly?:)

EDIT: It could be your PSU worst-case scenario.
 
I would advise you to ask a friend to borrow his PSU and see if you have a bad PSU, if you do your gonna have to replace it sorry ;)
