Key logger programs

Hi Guys,

I have a question here hopefully someone can answer it.
My girlfriend was the last person to use the computer and then it crashed. i got it to work again with a vista upgrade disk. i looked at the internet history and it showed that someone was looking at the following things : hotmail, facebook, and google. the funny thing is that someone was searching for a key logger program with google as key logger was typed in the history twice. once like this - key logger and then like this keylogger. someone was searching this on google on my computer. and it also showed a link highlighted to this website actualkeylogger.com the program was installed!

my girlfriend swears on everything she didnt install or search this program, but she was the last person on the computer. she said all she did was look at her hotmail and did some bankin. she did say however when she did some banking when she went to file the computer asked her save. the destination was C:ProgramFiles/ACSPMonitor. she wrote it down on a piece of paper.

can a virus do this????? or a worm??? or can someone used some sorta remote access????

Thanks for any help

Start off by posting a Hijackthis log in the security section (or you can post it in this thread).

Download Hijackthis.
Install the program to the default directory.

Run Hijackthis and select "Do a system scan and save a logfile".
Copy and paste the log into a new topic here. Please do not post your log in someone else's thread, even if you have the same problem as they do. Always make your own thread.

Don't name your thread "Hijackthis log", name it as something descriptive to the problems you have.

Give a description of the problems you are having, in as much detail as possible.

Do not fix anything unless advised to do so.

This the hijackthis link:

He isn't asking to install a keylogger. He is asking how to get rid of it.

im not sure if anyone is reading my post. i just wanna know if it was possible for someone else to do a google search on my computer from another computer.

No. I'm still extremely sorry. I already knew you weren't like some of the other people on this forum where they jump on the report post button. I'm still sorry dude.

No. It would be very very very rare since the history is saved locally.

It can happen. Anything can happen. But hacking isn't the easiest thing to do. You need a lot of knowledge (which would come from experience), programs (such as IP sniffers, file-joiners), and time.

You found computerforum so you are obviously not the most retarded creature to walk the earth. Why would a hacker spend all his time and resources trying to get into your computer then forget what keylogger he wants to use.

If you think are being keylogged, i suggest you post the hijack this log.

And if you do not want to, you can look into a software KEY SCRAMBLER.
