I am not sure I am asking for the right thing so I will explain what I am looking for.

I am dealing with a teenage son that has myspace and email issues with people he does not know.I need a program that I can run in my computer that will show
all tyeing of passwords and stuff.

I have heard there is a program you could buy that you hook up in conjunction with a printer port on a desktop computer that will basically give you everything that was typed into the computer.

Does anyone know where to buy one?Point me in the right direction.I think they may be called keystroke recorders. Are there any free programs out there that will do this?

If he's having problems with people taking his passwords, it's more like spyware or a key logger program that's relaying the key's he is typing to someone on the receiving end.

Run a FULL virus and spyware scan, then on another computer change all his passwords and don't log into anything until you clean the computer.

This one is not free, but its about the cream of the crop. My boss used it at work to bust a part time employee who was frivelously using the internet during her shift. get the pro version and it emails a log to you every day.

Whilst I appreciate that there are legitimate uses for these programs, they are used extensively for malicious purposes as well.

Since we have no way to verify your story, and due to the fact that discussing this topic would leave a what amounts to a "how to" guide for anyone who did want to use keyloggers maliciously, discussion about installing keyloggers is not permitted on this site.

I am therefore closing this thread.
