key wont work!?

Out of nowhere. the letter K isn't functioning correctly. As far as i'm aware nothing has been spilt on it. but it's very stiff.

Any ideas on how to correct it.

I'm PC literate but not when it comes to problems like this.

loo.s li.e you're fuc.ed then lol.....

try popping the keys off of the board carfully and cleaning with damp cloth and then vacuuming all the crud out (if any) ;)
 
Just be careful if you do pop it off to clean it. Laptop keyboards can be rather complicated with their cross levers and all (or whatever it's called :P)

Did I miss something:confused: I never saw it was a laptop although they are more prone to having things spilt on them so chances are you're correct !!
 
If it's a laptop pop the keys and clean them. If its a desktop just get a new keyboard because a new one is only 15 dollars or so.

dont be silly, desktop keyboard keys come of easier that laptop ones!!!!
or just hold the board upside and shack and blow like crazy...that normally does it

Yeah and some people like certain keyboards , mine for example has a backlight for my midnight working whilst people are trying to sleep ;)
