keyboard and mouse ?

I was thinking about getting a new keyboard and mouse, but not sure if i should get a exspensive keyboard and mouse or a cheap one. As far the mouse goes, how trackball mouses get dirty and stop working real well will optical mouses somehow get dirty or something and stop working real well? Do you think its worth paying like $70 for a keyboard and $30 for a mouse? or should i get cheaper stuff.
 
you should go to costco and buy the microsoft optical dekstop for around $50 (depending on where you are). It comes with a wireless keyboard and a wireless laser mouse
 
to me, the keyboard doens't matter taht much, as long as you like the feel. as for mouse, the shape and any issues with it could affect ur experience. i'd be willing to put money into the mouse. but what cybereclipse suggested, as long as you like the feel of the combo, it sounds like a good price for a laser combo.
 
Optical mice won't get dirty like trackball mice do. No cleaning required.
I just got the Logitech MX3200 desktop the other day, and I have to say for $130 Canadian it's worth every penny.
 
A Microsoft Wireless Desktop is a great keyboard and mouse combo. I got mine for $45 a while back, so they should be cheaper now. The buttons on the mouse seemed to start giving out sooner than my current mouse, but the battery life was amazing. The keyboard was very nice too.

Just don't play games with that mouse... It's great, but mine had the smooth scroll ball, so it would sometimes click between weapons. The mouse is also rather heavy, using two AA batteries.
