Keyboard Delay

Hey guys
i just built my gaming PC

Everything works fine.. but I tried my keyboard that I play this Game with.

In the game. When I press W for forward, it has like a 1-2 second lag. so the Character keeps moving forward o.O

And this is only In Game.. Typing and such = No problem .. So i presume that it won't be fixed by a simple . Control Panel>Keyboard settings >.<

Help Please :(

I didn't expect this from a 4GB ram PC.. (if that's anyhow related)

What are the specs of the computer? 4GB RAM is good and you don't find that amount of memory on a low-end computer but still, if your other parts can't keep up with the game the memory ain't gonna do a lot.
 
I would say that you need to plug the keyboard into a different usb if you can, if that fails reinstall all drivers relating to the keyboard, if that fails, try another keyboard, and if that fails, I would just reinstall the whole OS...
And if that fails I would blame it on your motherboard seeing as the keyboard hooks directly into it.
 
Well, maybe you have AntAliasing turned on in the game. It happens to me a lot, when having antialias turned on. It smooths the edges of 3d objects, but on my pc lags a lot (maybe my Ati Radeon 9550 doesn't render AntiAliasing too fast).
But is that only in one game or more games? What videocard do you use?
