Keyboard problems!

Just built myself a new computer, plugged my keyboard back into the USB port on the Mobo. All seemed well, it types fine, all of the keys seem to be in the rite places, apart from a couple:
To make the "@" symbol I have to press Shift-2, but actually looking at the keyboard its ment to make the " symbol holding that combo down. Both have somehow reversed. Which makes typing rather amusing at times. Also the hash key now makes a backslash "\" and the hash symbol has dissappeared alltogether from my keyboard! So now I two keys that both make \\\\\\\!

Any help on solving this would be great! Thanks.

start >> control panel >> regional and language options >> make sure everything in there is set to the right country for you.

ok right click the taskbar, then go to toolbars, and click language bar, when it comes on select the letters EN for english.

Problem solved! LOL Silly me! Just over looked that! It said EN at the bottom all the time, so I never checked it, but after clicking on it, you can change it from English (United States) and English (United Kingdom). Swtiched it to UK and all is done! Thanks!
