Keyboard Repeatability Problem

When I hit the same key twice (for example, if I hit the space bar twice, or type the word will (two l's)) I have to stop for a second to get the key to work. It does not happen if I do not repeat the key. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Confused on what you are trying to ask. Perhaps you can give me a scenario... so I can understand your question.

Otherwise, try a different keyboard to see if it sticks!

I tried another keyboard and it did the same thing.

Scenario

I am tying a letter. If it want the second "t" in letter to appear I have to stop for a second before typing the 2nd "t". If I want to space two times after the period I have to stop for a second... If I want to backspace the entire word out I cannot hold down the key. I would have to hit it once, wait a second, hit it again, and so on.
