Keyboard, soundcard, or mouse?

I have ~40$ to spend on a new mouse or sound card to add to my build. My current mouse is a Microsoft Intellipoint Explorer 4.0 and my sound card is a Creative Sound Blaster SE. I would like a wireless mouse, but the sound card I got sounds a bit worse then my onboard audio. What should I buy?
 
My speakers are the Creative I-trigue 3300. They are good, have clear sound when loud, but some songs and in some games the audio goes a bit strange. Not permanently, but like a scratch in the sound. This happened when I got the card.
 
For $40 you cant get that good of a sound card, so i would upgrade the keyboard and/or mouse.
 
im with omega on this...if ur soundcard is worse than ur onboard audio then take it out...and just go with a mouse or keyboard or both
 
I game...If my onboard audio is better then my soundcard it is pretty intensive, I would think. Playing without the sound card makes it incredibly glitchy, some sounds don't even play. Anyway, any suggestions for keyboard & mouse / soundcards? I can up it to 55$ if I need to.

EDIT: Thats including shipping/taxes
 
Well, my mouse is skipping around. But that could be because of my surface. I'll get a cheap mousepad and see if that does anything. Meanwhile, any good speakers? 2.1 is perferred, I really can't see any way to set up a good 5.1 system.
