Hey guys I have a wireless keyboard and mouse combo its a Logitech LX310. This keyboard and mouse works fine after the os has booted, but will not work before. I am currently duel booting Windows 7 and Linux, thus I have to choose which OS to boot at startup. I have been changing keyboards everytime I want to do that but here is the thing. "I dont want to have to do that" is it possible to get a wireless keyboard to work in the bios?

Use a ps/2 type keyboard to access the bios and look for the option to enable usb legacy keyboard/mouse. Then hook the usb keyboard back up and it should work.

or use a serial keyboard. the old ones. that will work.or should. not sure about ps2 maybe the same. how about the battery.
