I have a Compaq wireless keyboard and mouse,and the keyboard has been messing up lately. The space bar, enter, and backspace are working all the time, and sometimes some of the letters arent working. this keyboard is a few years old, if i had to guess, about 4. any ideas on how to fix it? and if it is just the age of the keyboard, what are some good keyboards out there that are wireless? for about $50.
 
This might be dumb but have you checked the batteries? I have the Microsoft 4000 laser desktop and that sounds like what it does when the batteries start going out.
 
Hmm not sure bout your problem, since its 4 years old though id just get a new one to be honest! dont get a Labtec wireless keyboard though, cos there pap.
 
That's cool man. If that's what you like then cool. I just don't really see how moving your keyboard around the room is practical.

I would check your weekly ads. Almost all electronics store have at least one keyboard and mouse combo on sale rotation each week.
 
logitech makes a great product. And they back their products with pretty good warranties too. I had a logitech mouse and keyboard for the longest time with no problems at all. I have a set of logitech speakers too. They work beautifully. I recently went with the microsoft ergonomic just because I like the design.
 
thanks, i have seen logitech's stuff around, but have never heard anything about them. and if i remember right, they are a little cheaper than microsoft. which is something i like.

I worked at Staples for 3 years and we RARELY had any logitech product returned. Also, people usually had good things to say about their stuff. Good luck picking yours out.
 
do not get the ex110, the last link u posted tho is a great product, my friends had it and i tried it out its great. And till like 2 days, staples has the microsoft 4000[ awesome] combo for i think $15 after rebates. but be quick, theyre all sold out out here.

Yeah, i saw the add, and went to walmart, got a price match. so far i love it!
