HI
the button with the symbol (@) is not typing (@) but the number (2 ") is typing it .
and vice versa .

any advice will help.

Sounds like you have the wrong keyboard drivers installed. Check it out in control pannel. There's like English(US) English(Brittish) etc...

Your keyboard shift button might have problem so check it out...
