well, I'm stuck with dell and i have friends who build so, i figured, why not give it a shot. got money for my b day (yay!!!) and my friends already helped me with everything but 1 thing. I need a case, and a power supply. I have the money so i though i would go all out. I was wondering if this case could + power supply could power an 8800ultra. i see people talking about this game called Crysis here so i looked into it. IT LOOKS SWEET!!!!!! any so, i wanna play it the best it can go. my 360 broke (2nd time) and i like games. will this PSU on here do the trick? and will the case keep it cool? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2448862&body=MAIN

thanks for any help,

I wouldn't try that PSU with an 8800 Ultra, nor would I get that GPU. Go with the GTX. It's cheaper and not that much worse. You could probably overclock to the same speed as the ultra without a problem.

Yes get the GTX instead if you havent picked up the ultra yet. That PSU should work without a problem

Over clocking means pushing a component to a faster speed than the factories stock. like a core 2 duo e6600 stock: 2.4ghz OC: 3.0GHZ

Its like turboing a non turbo car.

i saw the overclock and CPU tab and just skimmed through the overclocking 101 thing. it don't want to void my warranty. the number on the spec on the sight that i see in some other peoples section go to newegg (i think that's what its called) and i found one with hi numbers on the clock thing. doesn't that mean its better? i found this one

i like it...i think? so this wont be any better than the GTX version?
