They do work. Just installed one to my laptop.

I knew it would make a big difference to the performance so I did something really anal and timed how long it took to boot to XP with the old drive before taking it out of the system.

The time with the standard 60gb 5400rpm spinning drive was: 1:05:381 (m:s:ms)
The time with the SSD NOW V+100 was: 19:326 (s:ms)

The boot time was cut by 71% :eek:
 
Yeah, SSD's are great. I have mine installed with Windows 7 on a dual boot with XP. i can be at windows 7 desktop ready to go under 20 seconds after selecting windows 7 for my os.
