im not getting the belkin as belkin arnt really good, can anyone help me out here?

you know the cable for kvm switches that carry the dvi/audio/mouse/keyboard, does the video/sound quality degrade as it goes thru the box to your speakers/monitor

what about if i get a different kvm switch that doesnt have the cables all in one has the sound and video cables seperatly something like this
