KVM w/ 5.1 support

I have a Belkin Soho Omniview KVM switch, and will be getting a logitech X 530 5.1 setup. Is there a way to plug all 5 speakers into the KVM? It has a USB 1.1, VGA, green audio, and pink microphone port. I have heard you can plug speakers into mike ports and they work.

If I can't, are there any KVMs with 5.1 support?

All the ports on the KMV should be stright though, so yeah, plugging into the mic jack should be fine. The only problem is that it's probably only mono rather than stereo...

All I can suggest is search around for a KVM switch with 5.1 capability. It seems like someone would have one. Or, you might even be able to find some separate switch JUST for audio, and you flip it separately from your KVM...

Another idea, I beleive you can have digital sound coming though a basic headphone jack... Sooo, if your speakers can decode that, and both your computers support it, that might just work...

One of them is/will be an Xbox 360...would it still work then?

Also, for anyone with an X-530 set, the speakers plug into the woofer right? Then what type of cable comes out of the sub?
