L8 Night Help Needed !!!

I connected nearly everything on my new build.

1.
The case I bought came with 3 fans.
I have no idea where to connect them at.
All 3 fans have 2 connectors each with 4pins each, and input and an output all are of 4 wires with 1 yellow, 2 black, and 1 red.

2.
My PSU came with a 20pin + 4pin Power Connector.
The power connector is 20pin with the 4pin wires connected next to it.
Do I connect them all in the same place, in the 4 slots that the 20pin missed.
I connected them all in the same place.
Do I just put the 20pin there and leave the left over 4 pins empty ?

3.
This question has to do with number 2 a little.
My PSU has an individual 4pin connector.
I connected it to the ATX12V1 slot.
I am not sure if that is where the extra 4pins from the power connector go.

4.
On Panel one I had no where to connect the Power LED.
So I connected the Power LEd where the Power Fan pins where on my mobo.
It had the exact 3 pins that the power led from my case needed.
Is that right ?

5.
The front panel on my mobo, where the power switch, reset, hdd led goes.
How do I know what part of the wires is NEGATIVE or POSITIVE.
Most wires have a little TRIANGLE on them, what does that mean ?

Let me know guys
Its almost 3 am and I plan to stay up until I finish this.
Thanks alot guys

1. The fans connect to the same type of plug as the cd drive a molex.

5. I dont think they are either just connect on to one pin and the other to the other.

1. They sound like MOLEX connectors, they connect straight to your PSU.
2. All 24 pins are now usually used, however if 4 aren't used then leave them.
3. You will have a seperate 4(or 8)-pin lead for the ATX 12V. You MUST use this.
4. There should be a set of pins where you connected the starter button up. It should go there, leave it unplugged for now and show me your case and motherboard.
5. As far as I know the triangles mean positive. They do on mine anyway, the worst that'll happen is that the LED's won't light up being diodes. I think the power buttons are just switches.

No, You need the Hdd Cable to connect to a HDD.

BUT EVERYMOBO HAS 2 SLOTS FOR HDD"S AND 1 FOR FLOPPY.

Just look. your mobo would of came with at least one hdd cable

Are you buying a new Hard drive? or using a one you already have?

If your BUYING one, go for a sataII Hard drive, as they are not only faster, it wont take up your ide slot

BUT

If you have one already, then YES, that Harddrive will work with your CD drive as long as you only have one cd/dvd drive.

Set the jumpers on the back of your hard drive to MASTER Then
Set the jumpers on the back of the cd drive to SLAVE

That should work.

I will give it a try.

So I connect the master ide cable to the hard drive
and the slave from the same cable to the cd/dvd drive ?

_______________

I'm building an entire new computer, I bought everything new but the Hard Drive and a dvd drive........

I give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now the computer starts but it beeps every second.
The moniter won't light up for nothing,
but the computer powers up

Yes, And on the back of the hard drive and the CD Drive, there is little plastic things (commonly called jumpers) if you look at the back, there will be engraved in the hard drive and cd drive things like

Master
Slave
Cable Select

and something else...

Set the hdd to master
Cd Drive to slave
