label software?

Help me out here guys...I had a mailing list program that was dead simple to use. All I had to do was select the template I wanted and type in the names and addresses that I wanted, and save the template with the info on it. Then when it came time to send out my invitations to the annual family picnic, I just retrieved it and printed the labels.

I downloaded it, and I think it was about $20 for as long as I had the computer.

Well that computer is history and I cannot remember the name of the outfit that I bought it from.

All the programs that I have found work differently and I am not savvy enough to make them work for me.

I see a lot of "free" software available, but none of them are what I am looking for plus I have learned that "free" downloads come with stuff that ends up causing me problems on my computer.

If any of you cam steer me in the right direction, I would be much obliged to you. Thanks

Most of the time when you get a free program, I always do a custom install and uncheck any boxes I don't want on my computer. But some programs will have it and some of them won't.

I find this program is fairly easy for me.
