my computer is lagging badly after a lan party 2 nights ago. i did take some music and videos from my friends shared folder (about 15 gigs, lol) also i did install the offine/lan version of cs 1.6 and i did install age of empires 2. since the lan ive been lagging horribly. everything, media player, msn, opera, like right now, as i type it doesnt show up, then about 1 second later the characters begin to show up. why is this? i scanned my computer, and the guy whose stuff i took has a clean computer.
i do need a new psu (not suplying my gpu with enough power), but i highly doubt that is the issue..
also you might be able to clear this up while your at it. my laptop is incredibly infested with viruses and shat (i've learned alot since i switched to my new desktop.), and avast took care of most of them, but it cant/wont get rid of a worm it found in one of panda's (another antivirus program) folders. Ive tried uninstalling panda but i end up wih an error. i'll see if i can post the code later.
edit: the file is c:/program files/pandasoftware/titanium 2006 antivirus + antispyware/pskavs.dll (win32:ctx).
