I am laggin in all games and my computer is laggin when i just log in or open a window. I have had it since may 2005. I got reformatted in Jaunuary this year.
I got 172 Gb out of 182 gb total memory. my internet is 108mbps and it says the connection is very good. I just defragged for the 4th time. It all still lags. I try shutting all programs down and doing it but it still lags in game and when i open windows. I have 34 proccesses with most of my programs turned off. Help appriciated!

How much system memory do you have?

Also what Os and have you scanned for spyware infections etc?

you say you have 128Gb total memory...i think you mean hard drive space there not memory.
 
did you bump your pc somewhere by chance? I had the same problem with my old pc when its hardrive was not function properly. Does your hard drive make noise that was not there before all this started happening? Did you have files that works before but can't seems to open it again?
