ok so me and a friend are trying to play some games over the internet when one creates a game, it doesn't show up on the server list. Any ideas on what's going on.

We are connected to the same router, via ethernet cables. and yes, we are checking in the LAN section.

Can you find out if you see his connection? In the network places.

if its Battlefield 2, the server dont show up until the hoster is done with loading the map

go to run and type cmd than type ipconfig /all. see if you have an IP adrees, subnet, and default gateway. if you do, let me know. it may not shopw because either your IP's are conflicting. there are various things, do you guys have the same game version?
