is wireless networking really demanding on a router compared to wiring the connection. Cos im having a lan party this weekend and i know that the router tends to have problems dealing with more than one person playing online games sometimes. Should i have a much better performance if around 5 people are using the router with lan cables and not have ne problems?

(my connection is 6 meg at non peak hours and 2 meg at peak hours)
 
Realize you're going from wired to wireless back to wired. Plus there may be interference that slows the connections down. Plus wireless is almost never as fast as even standard 100Mbps ethernet :P

I'd say it'd be a good idea to use as many wired connections as possible.
 
yeh, ok

i think it'l be fine. 5 of us played online games at once b4 and it was fine last time. some1 elses router though
