So i want to join a finnish forum and as a few questions but i cant make heads nor tails of any of it.

are there any apps that can do this for me? i now its a big task but it would be great.

also the forum is only in finnish and cannot be translated with any options.

Thanks :)

Finnish is part of of the Finno-Ugric branch of the Uralic language family that has a high morpheme per word ratio of the agglutinative type. This type of language is *extremely* difficult to translate with a machine due to the large number of principle parts, cases, conjugations, and vowel harmony. I highly doubt that you will be able to find a good online translator that provides accurate results. Your best bet is to learn the Finnish language yourself, although it is considered one of the most difficult languages for English speakers to learn due to its highly complex structure and lack of a common vocabulary and language family. Google certainly does not offer Finnish as a choice for automatic translation. Unless you learn Finnish yourself, you will probably have to pay someone to translate it for you by hand.

Russian is also quite a major world language, so it would make sense that they would try to perfect a translator for it. I've seen more Latin and Ancient Greek automatic translators than Finnish translators. Many Finns know English quite well, or at least Swedish, and Finnland plays a much smaller rôle in the global oeconomy, and it is not learned by many people outside Finnland and Sweden.

Jesus, you guys should start a languages thread in the Off-Topic section, id love to know everything you do on these strange and mythical languages :D
