Hey guys..

I am using window 7 sp1 and i noticed that some of the korean letters show as weird Math equation.... Normally other people would see squares instead of korean letter but for it shows weird math or numbers lol... I am trying everything to chamge this but all response from other site would be like change ur language setting or download kr language pack....i know w7 comes with korean language pack and i did configure everything i can type korean fine and can read them but SOMETIMES the text would be in weird numbers...

I am guessing its because some korean letters are in different font or something and w7 does not recongnize them.... If anyone can help me out.. Thanks

Have try this? which windows 7 do you using? below is from windows 7 help.

Change the system locale

The system locale determines the default character set (letters, symbols, and numbers) and font used to enter and display information in programs that don't use Unicode. This allows non-Unicode programs to run on your computer using the specified language. You might need to change the default system locale when you install additional display languages on your computer. Selecting a different language for the system locale doesn't affect the language in menus and dialog boxes for Windows or other programs that do use Unicode.

Click to open Region and Language.

Click the Administrative tab, and then, under Language for non-Unicode programs, click Change system locale. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Select the language, and then click OK.

To restart your computer, click Restart now

Yeah... I did try alot of things.but i noticed most of other people with language problem was about getting weird square instead of the letters.. But mine shows weird numbers not square... And about 70%of the time it works fine.. But some website or porgrams shows that number.. I never had this problem before... Very frustrating
