Lanparty Mod Over?

I was kind of bored tonight so I decided to try the Lanparty Ultra-D to SLI mod. (http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/AMD/120. When I took off the chipset fan over the SLI enabling transistors I found a sort of plastic covering? It seems as if nVidia's trying to stop this mod now? Has anyone else read of this?

ya i heard that they made it so you cant do it anymore. but i think you can do it to the older models.

Sorry about the link and the failure to fix it. Now it's fixed. My model is from before the articles, so I have no idea. It stinks, but I heard with older froceware you don't even need the SLI chipset running. I'll try it sometime.
