Lappy's

not sure about the GPU and its a bit chunky:P but everything else looks nice:)

ohh yeah the HP looks good :D and has DX10!! thats way better for gaming:)

whats ur budget?

around the 1300 range, the reason why i want it from one of these cc, best buy stores is that my friend works at one of them and can get me a smokin deal on em...

I'm not a huge fan of HP laptops, but the specs are much better on the HP. The processor should be a good bit faster, and I suspect the GPU would be better as well.

is it worth the little bit extra for the hp.... my only concern with hp is reliability, i owned a desktop and had quite a few issues, but they're always are lemons in a bunch..... i heard toshiba has great reliability.

It's really hard to say... I mean almost everyone has horror stories about my laptop yet I love it and have had almost no problems with it! Sometimes it's just the particular model rather than the brand. Though I do believe Toshiba laptops are typically better laptops overall...

sweet, thanks for the advice, i giess it comes down to what i need the most, considering they are both pretty good spec wise and so on, the hp just has a much better card, but i still love the amd in the toshiba..... sorry intel guys...

i would go with the HP if u want to play games its just when somthing go's wrong technical supports in india and its hell trying to understand them

hahahahah...lol... i have dealt with tha before, i had a hp desktop, and baljit singhn gurprit adwal bali ramma, was hard to understand

anyone else got any thoughts

hp all the way. i agree with the "theres always a lemon" theory, but u cant not buy a computer causee you heard bad feedback from a friend of a friend.
i find that hp generally has better "trim" than most brands... the pci remote and touchable volume/media buttons are nice. also, the HPs have 2 headphone slots, which are great for watching movies.
