I live in the US, Florida to be a little more exact. I'd like to purchase a laptop with the following specs.
(In level of importance)
Backlit Keyboard
13-14 inch screen
Price <$700
Intel core I class or core duo
Mainly, my mom wants to run Windows Server on the computer. Most likely reviewing documents and maybe running a few programs. The backlit keyboard is important as the lighting in the room is not that bright. The size is for portability reasons.
I do not have a dedicated brand, but my mom does like "New" items. (Not used)
I would want it to also have a CD Drive, USB Ports (At least 1, 3.0 does not matter), and bluetooth ( a bluetooth mouse would match perfectly with her)
As far as it being aesthetically pleasing, it does not matter that much. Of coarse, I wouldn't mind, as long as it does not exceed the max price.
*Also for ram, I know that I can purchase more from other sources, so I do not mind if it has a low amount.
