Laptop buying advice forum: HP Envy 14 Spectre or Envy 15? For college

I'm going to be buying a new laptop soon for college next year. I've always had the envy series on mind and after research they are my number 1 choice. I'm going into architecture so I need a good performance computer, but I also want something that's good for music and just general things.
I refuse to get a Macbook and I love HP. Just incase someone mentions the macbook.
Plus I want Windows because macs cannot use Revit and other such things.
I have the 15 on mind first because it has an optical drive in it. But I've been thinking that I could just get the USB optical drive for the 14 spectre.
What do you guys suggest, I love hearing suggestions!

Have you got full spec for evny 15?

I do recommend getting 15" or getting extra monitor. It is hard to work on CAD for 14"
and the 14" seems not powerful enough
