Laptop Carrying Case

I'm going to be flying somewhere in the next couple of weeks and I just recently got a brand new laptop and I plan to take it with me. It has a 17 inch screen so I need a carrying case with a shoulder strap that fits the computer. I plan to spend up to $50 for the case. I looked on newegg, best buy, wal-mart and other sites but I can't find one without all of those little pockets for pencils and paper. Any help or link would be great.

thanks in advanced.

when i worked at staples we had them going on clearance so much that we had them laying around the top shelf and if you look you can find a 100 dollar one for 10 dollars. I think you should take a trip and just grab a ladder and go at it. I got a ton of stuff there for really cheap. Clearance is the bomb.

Laptop air travel

I travel with my laptop a lot for work. I don't know what actual "brand" case I have but it is the standard econo/corporate type case that they gave me with it. I actually have be checked my laptop in on the last few flights, but I really don't "care" since my employer would have to replace it if it were lost. They did install StompSoft's Digital Vault http://www.stompsoft.com/digital-vault.html so that the files would be protected when out of my sight, and I actually have it installed on my own personal laptop (although I don't travel with that one). I'd definitely look for clearance items because they are usually not to hard to find, especially when new styles come out and stores want to get rid of the older styles.
