laptop company help

hello just got my acc so take care

i have this problem with my 1½ year old laptop the sound plug won't work anymore and i know that i just can send it in to the producer .. but heres the real problem

the company just gone broke 2nd time and i bought the laptop before 1st time they gone broke

and just wanna know what to do

To clarify, the headphone jack on the laptop won't work and the company who manufactures the laptop is no longer around? Well after a year, you probably wouldn't have much luck having the laptop repaired Is it physically loose or just won't work? I suspect the solder broke and it needs to be re-soldered, but it could be as simple as software a problem. What OS are you running? Have you tried new drivers?

The easiest/cheapest way will be to buy an external USB sound card, or if your laptop has an expansion slot you may be able to find a sound card that will work.
