So for some light/medium gaming, frequent iTunes playing, web browsing and basically a "do-all" laptop, which is the better deal?

The HP would perform slightly better, but I hate HP with a passion. I'd go with the Inspiron.

Yeah, gaming would be better on the HP, but voyager is not the only one that doesnt like HP. Not that you should be gaming on a laptop. Can I ask if you actually need a mobile pc, and will you be gaming?

I will only really be playing Minecraft in max settings and some WoW and Diablo. Those are about it. And yes it needs to be mobile, I'm building a desktop next summer, but I need a laptop as well.

Okay, than the HP would play games slightly better, but not by much at all, plus I dont like HP, along with voyager, so I would get the dell. In fact, I am typing this on a dell inspiron 15r now, just 1 year old, nice lappy, cant say how it games, it uses intel HD. I see no benches on a 7730m, but it should perform pretty well, I hear it performs very similar to a 650m.

No offense, but no matter the credibility of a statement/opinion, I will not base a action on only two opinions. I was bumping to get more opinions/responses.

I'm not really sure; the HP has better specs (better graphics, faster hard drive), but it's 200 bucks more than the Dell, so I'd say that the Dell is better value.

Yeah, plus Hp sucks. I had one of there laptops, the keyboard was breaking off keys after a couple months, and the power board failed after a year.

I've never had a problem with HP's stuff, but Dells are definitely more sturdy.
