Laptop Crash - with Pictures!

Yeah, so this has never happened to me before and I'm pretty upset about it, especially with all my wonderful finals coming up! Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated. I'm still gonna call around tomorrow and hopefully find a good price to get this fixed but if I can get info beforehand then all the better. So this is kind of a step by step, what my laptop did as it was basically dying.

P.S. It's not letting me post all the pictures I got, so if anyone wants to see them who thinks they can help, let me know and I can send them through email. Thanks!

An easier way would be to re-upload the pictures to somewhere like www.photobucket.com and use the IMG code links. If you want to extract your files to a memory stick try an Ubuntu live CD, DO NOT INSTALL IT, just run it and copy the files over from your Document folder to your chosen storage device in the live CD environment.
