I have been having problems with my hp dv6500 since i bought it.

When I play any game, It starts to lag once the temperatures get passed
55c. The fan kicks in at 63c...It then once it gets under 60c, it turns off.

I have a cooling pad, but its not doing much.

What can i do to lower the temps?

There is absoloutly no dust at all. Maybe i should apply some of my left over artic sliver 5?

When i played crysis, My lappy got hot, started to lag, what did i do? bought a cooling pad for $20, plus to mini fans for $10 each, It now runs lag free.I can show you a picture lol

I built a getto rig of a cooling pad. I have 2 92mm fans. O_O

Well,

Now i have a problem.

I downloaded what you linked me to, rebooted, no video.

The fans are working faster, and the harddrive is spinning, all the lights are on.

ok. if you can (seeing you put thermal past on it,) open the memory port and look for the battery. It is a small round thing that connects to the motherboard. unplug it and remove the main battery and power cord for 3 min

I really hate to say this, but it looks like there was a problem when you flashed the BIOS.

Are you sure that you followed the directions exactly when updating the BIOS?
