It does sound like you bricked it, can you send it back to HP?

Yeah, sounds like you missed something in the BIOS flash. You'll have to have HP fix it.

Im in luck, I called up the retailer i bought it from. They said I can exchange it with a new one. I doubt BestBuy's "geeksquad" is going to know what is wrong with it.

It's not your fault, either he download the wrong BIOS or he messed something up during the install, such as turning off the computer before it's complete.
